Stories shaped in clay
Seen in the Wilderness
Exploring moments of encounter, struggle, hope, and divine presence through narrative relief.

Clay holds memory.
Through narrative relief sculpture, I seek to reveal the human moments in which God is encountered within biblical stories—moments that still speak hope today.
This large ceramic relief centers on Hagar at the moment she is seen and addressed in the wilderness. The scene uses gesture, landscape, and shallow relief to hold the tension between isolation and divine encounter.
